I am the mother of two beautiful children.

I started designing my nappies in February 2004 for my daughter. I sold a few nappies in my hometown, and some to the nurses who look after my mum and dad, (both are on dialysis) at Dubbo Base Hospital NSW. In the beginning, I called my nappies “Jens Nappies”. Mums loved my nappy for it had a Leak Guard system and a deep double Gusset which was great as it held the nappy away from baby’s skin and this helped the air to circulate inside the nappy. In the beginning, the fabrics I used were white Terry Towelling on the outer with cotton flannel inner in blue, pink and lemon with Velcro closure tags. I continually played with my design until I got it just right. Luckily, I keep a diary and jotted my info down to avoid confusion, as my Nappy design is complicated. I even made a Nappy Pattern. I later changed the name to Jen’s 5 Star Nappy and started selling on eBay and had another website called Jen’s Nappies. I had a store on the “Work at Home Mums” website, and then decided to get my own website. I call this: Baby Butt Covers. I now use Bamboo Organic Fleece and suede cloth to line my nappies, and they have a Snap closure. Making nappies is my passion, and I am sure God gave me the design and helped me make it all happen.
